Terms of Use
Last updated 26 July 2026
These terms govern access to the Gtech Service Portal. They sit alongside your equipment or service agreement with Gtech FZE; they do not replace it.
1.Who these terms are between
The Gtech Service Portal is operated by Gtech FZE, a free zone establishment registered in the United Arab Emirates (“Gtech”, “we”, “us”).
By signing in, you accept these terms on behalf of the organisation whose account you use, and you confirm you are authorised to do so. If you do not accept them, do not use the portal and inform your Gtech contact so your access can be removed.
2.Accounts and access
- There is no public registration. Accounts are created by Gtech at the request of a customer organisation.
- Accounts are personal to the individual they are issued to. Do not share your password or allow anyone else to use your login.
- You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account. Notify Gtech immediately if you believe it has been compromised.
- We may suspend or withdraw access where these terms are breached, where an account is no longer in use, or where your organisation's agreement with Gtech ends.
Where Gtech sets your initial password, you should replace it with one of your own at first sign-in from the account page.
3.What the portal is for
The portal allows you to view the equipment Gtech has placed with you, see the consumables and service parts issued to you, record what you have installed, submit meter readings, and raise and track service requests. Permitted use is set out in our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms.
4.Accuracy of the information you submit
Meter readings and consumable records submitted through the portal are used to calculate charges, plan deliveries and schedule maintenance. Their accuracy matters to both parties.
- Submit meter readings exactly as displayed on the machine's own counter report.
- Record consumables and parts at the time they are fitted, together with the meter reading shown at that moment.
- Notify Gtech promptly if you become aware that something you submitted was incorrect, so the record can be corrected.
We may verify submitted figures against readings taken by our technicians and against expected consumption patterns. Where records are missing, materially inaccurate, or appear to have been deliberately misstated, we may take readings ourselves, estimate volumes on a reasonable basis for billing purposes, and address the matter under your service agreement.
5.Equipment and stock
Machines placed under service, rental or lease arrangements, and consumables and parts supplied on a consignment basis, remain the property of Gtech FZE unless your agreement expressly provides otherwise. Records in the portal reflect that position but do not themselves transfer ownership of anything.
Stock balances shown in the portal are derived from what Gtech has issued and what you have recorded as used, and are therefore indicative. Where a portal balance and a verified physical stock count disagree, the physical count prevails and we will adjust the record accordingly.
6.Availability and support
We aim to keep the portal available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. It may be unavailable during planned maintenance, or as a result of failures in networks, hosting or other third-party infrastructure outside our reasonable control.
Service levels for your equipment, including response and repair times, are governed by your service agreement rather than by these terms. Raising a request in the portal does not by itself constitute an emergency notification. Where a machine is out of service and the matter is urgent, contact Gtech directly using the telephone number provided in your service agreement.
7.Intellectual property
The portal, its design, and the software underlying it belong to Gtech FZE or its licensors, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the portal only as these terms permit.
Data you enter about your own operations remains yours. You grant Gtech the right to use it for the purpose of providing the portal, supplying and maintaining your equipment, and administering billing under your agreement.
8.Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the laws of the United Arab Emirates, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the above, the portal is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or anticipated savings, or loss of or corruption of data, arising from use of or inability to use the portal.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the portal shall not exceed the total amounts payable by your organisation to Gtech under your service agreement in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
9.Privacy and data protection
Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms, and in accordance with applicable United Arab Emirates data protection law.
10.Confidentiality
Information made available to you through the portal, including pricing, contract rates and technical documentation, is confidential to Gtech and your organisation. You must not disclose it to any third party except where required by law or with our prior written consent.
11.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date shown at the top of this page indicates when they last changed. Where a change materially affects your rights we will give reasonable notice. Continued use of the portal after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12.Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The competent courts of the emirate in which Gtech FZE is registered shall have exclusive jurisdiction, save that Gtech may bring proceedings in any other jurisdiction where necessary to protect its rights.
13.Contact
Questions about these terms should be directed to your Gtech account manager, or to the contact details set out in your service agreement.
